Washington County Community Foundation Match Month Results
The Washington County Community Foundation is excited to announce that over $28,900 was raised during the December Match Month! This paired with the amount raised from the May Match event brings the grand total of funds raised to $53,329. Thanks to the generosity of the Patterson Family Foundation providing a match for both events and local donors that provided an additional match in May, the total impact for the Washington County Community is $115,158.
December also marked the 15th anniversary of the Washington County Community Foundation. Over the years, thanks to community involvement and empowerment, incredible progress has been made which benefits the entire county.
“The Washington County Community Foundation has grown significantly since it began in December 2009. Total assets have gone from $10,000 at the beginning to over $1.5 million today. Since inception, over $250,000 has been given out in grants and scholarships. This is a tribute to all the generous donors and volunteer board members over the years. We cannot wait to see what the next 15 years of growth brings to Washington County!” Natalie Wood, Affiliate Relations Coordinator.
