Landscaping and work to the City Hall building in Clifton have been a start to improving the downtown area. However, the large fiberglass sign previously there was an eyesore that took away from the improvements. The community foundation awarded the city funding to purchase a new digital display.
"This is just the next step in improving our downtown area," said grantee Danielle Detrixhe. The new sign also helps to make the citizens and public more aware of what is happening in the community. "The digital sign has been an asset to the community, allowing multiple events and activities to be displayed at the same time," said Detrixhe.
