Over $25,000 raised for Community Foundation at most recent Match Day

WASHINGTON, Kan.— The Washington County Community Foundation hosted a Match Madness giving day on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Donors contributed a total of $16,795 to the foundation funds of their choice. Including the matching funds, the event raised a record-breaking total of $25,798.

Match Madness is designed to generate new gifts to endowed funds held at the community foundation. Endowed funds are permanently invested to produce a steady stream of income to provide ongoing support for charitable needs in the county.

The Washington County Community Foundation board wishes to thank everyone that donated to support the various funds and a special thank you to this year’s match donors: Central Valley Ag, Citizens State Bank and Herrs Machine Hydrostatics.
